20Kg Adjustable Weighted Training Vest

Points to note: 1. I have a large muscular body type so this fitted me really well. I think that if you are on the slender side then it might be a bit loose on you so be prepared to tighten up the side material 2. Product looks really good and very tactical-like. Almost like I was part of a security team. 3. Each weight was 997g to 1003g so was happy with accuracy. 4. The shoulder section needs some additional padding so a bit of duct tape and some socks will solve that 5. When starting, I recommend you go with a low weight like 5-6kg and then slowly work your way up. I tend to do 8km walks on average so this was what I started with 6. Works as a great vest in case of cooler weather 7. Make sure you carefully balance the weights on the back and front so that your posture is just right. EG. You do not want to be overloaded on the back such that you have to lean forward etc 8. The empty pockets on the lower front right and left are perfect for umbrellas and thin drink bottles. I plan to snip that part of the Velcro such that I can leave the individual flap for the drink up with the other two fully velcro’d down 9. The other empty pockets are great for protein bars etc 10. The Velcro is really strong and the material of the product is structurally very solid. I read earlier reviews of this product that implies it was more like a shopping bag quality. I suspect they may have upped their production quality. The buckles are also good for me. I did not have any of the issues a few other users mentioned 11. It is a bit annoying trying to police the loose buckle straps so I might snip it down or use some rubber bands to keep them neat (visual thing for me) 1 month later 12. I no longer need shoulder pad protection. I just readjusted my weights a bit and the pain I feel on the pointy part of my left shoulder disappeared 13. Keep a spare chest pocket for your phone. FYI it fits my iPhone 15 Max Pro with case for reference 14. When jogging, I need to hold the weights close to my chest still to reduce the movement (even after tightening it to almost max. I recently purchased the 20kg variant of this vest for $75, as per the Prime Day deal. I'm on the muscular side, and this fits well, but might be a bit loose for more slender people. It's fairly solid, and the weights seem to be accurate enough. I've been wearing it over a t-shirt to avoid rubbing, which seems to be preventing the initial discomfort that I had experienced. The issue that I've found with this product is that the buckles simply don't lock correctly, and constantly come apart, to the point where it was easier for me to simply take the buckles off, and tie the straps together. This may be more prevalent with the higher weighted version, but is still rather disappointing, as functional buckles would make putting it on and off faster. If I wouldn't have gotten it for the discounted rate, I would have given three stars.

The vest does exactly what it is supposed to and a bargain for the price. I wear a T-shirt, rather than a singlet, under it to stop any rubbing across my shoulders. Overall, great value.

Went for a morning run and created a lot of resistance especially during my short sprints and hill running. Highly recommend it. Nothing wrong with the buckles.

so firstly for the sale proce of 80 aus dollars its alright. it will do what its supposed to but there are two things you need to be aware of. 1 the product image does not match the item. it looks alot more sleaker and tactical on the image but in reality its all nylon material. 2 the straps are rubbish. as soon as i opened the box 2 of the 3 straps were not locking at all so i threw them all out and just sewed on velcro on all the straps instead. otherwise its alright
